Post Surgery use of Skin Creams |

As far as I am concerned, skin creams are an essential part of daily personal care. Lubricated skin is happy skin! Plus the bonus of younger looking skin is nice.
After my mother in law went through an awful fall off a set of stairs and broke a bone in her lower leg I learned that skin creams are also an important factor in post surgery care. Mom's surgery left her with a ten inch scar on her leg and some very dry, scaly skin. She was given a temporary cast that is inflatable and removable.
She agreed to try some skin creams on the leg. That was the easy part as I quickly learned her post surgery site was extremely sensitive. Just removing the temporary cast proved to cause her immense discomfort. After a break I proceeded to apply the skin creams. To my mother in law's and my own delights the gentle massage and consequent lubrication of the afflicted are was worth it! She really felt better and now we do this "treatment" on a daily basis. |
