Now that the cold and flu season is upon us, I’ve been taking extra care to make sure that I take my nutritional supplements. I am usually pretty good about taking them anyway, but I’ll be the first one to admit that sometimes I do get a little lax in taking the nutritional supplements when things get busy. I think the problem is that I have my everyday allergy medicine in one area, and the nutritional supplements in another. I really should put them all in the same place, since it would make things much easier.
This morning I was reading an article about some of the best ways to prevent the flu or at least lessen your chances. One of the tips in the article was to take a nutritional supplement that is rich in Vitamin A, D, C, and E. Another was making sure that you wash your hands often, since the flu can be on money, shopping carts, door handles, etc. I have actually started carrying antibacterial gel in my purse everywhere I go. I hope to make it through this season without having to deal with the flu. One can certainly hope.
