Tooth decay is something we all deal with, there is no getting away from it. Although many of us do a great job brushing, flossing and using mouth rinse. Have you considered the use of nutritional supplements to help prevent tooth decay and pain? I researched this on the internet recently to help my family take additional steps towards healthy teeth and gums.
I found nutritional supplements in the herbs calendula, chamomile, peppermint and yarrow. They are natural anti-inflammatories. Clove oil is helpful for toothache pain. I have had to dilute it with olive oil because it was too strong. I used one or two drops with a cotton swap and rubbed it on the achy tooth. It really worked to relieve the pain within a few minutes.
Further nutritional supplements are goldenseal extract to be used as an antibacterial mouthwash. If inflammation is present you can apply goldenseal directly to the affected area at bedtime. Use a piece of sterile cotton and leave it in place overnight. Do this for three nights in a row to destroy bacteria and reduce inflammation.
I have personally used these items on myself and my family with good results. No problem considering nutritional supplements in my household! |
