nutritional supplementsPart of me thinks that there is some media hype, but what I have read implies that the H1N1 virus will spread more rapidly this winter. I have also looked at a data chart that differentiates between the symptoms of the H1N1 virus and the common cold. One fundamental difference is that the H1N1 virus can cause severe chest discomfort, and this could be dangerous for anyone who has a lung disease or condition such as asthma. I have weak lungs because of childhood asthma and I protect myself from cold and flu viruses with two nutritional supplements. These nutritional supplements are vitamin C and zinc. Vitamin C nutritional supplements boost the immune system. Zinc nutritional supplements make it easier for the body to absorb vitamin C.  Actually I don’t just take vitamin C and zinc nutritional supplements. I also try to consume foods that are rich in these nutrients in order to feel all the more confident that my immune system is working effectively. Of course these nutritional supplements to do not make it impossible to catch the H1N1 virus, but they do give the body a better chance of fighting it off.
