Skin Care Products
If your wife asks you to pick up skin care products on the way home, think twice before answering. It’s a trap, just like when they ask “Does this make me look fat?” I learned this the hard way. My wife asked me to pick up some skin creams on the way home from work. I was in a hurry and just agreed. I never thought to ask what kind, after all how hard could it be.
I stopped at a corner store. The lady at the counter was quite clear that you don’t buy skin care products at a corner store. You get them in the beauty or make up section of a drug or department store. That should have been the first sign I was in trouble. Luckily there was a large drug store just a few blocks away. I knew I was in trouble again when I realized skin care products did not have an aisle, but an entire section of their own. I never knew there were so many skin creams on the market. Nor did I know how many of the skin creams treated specific problems from dry skin to old skin.
The lady at the counter ask me all kinds of questions. Like, what was the skin cream for, to moisturize, revitalize or restore youthful skin? As if I knew. I had no idea what she uses it for. I finally just gave in and called my wife and asked her exactly what cream to buy. This is just another humiliating male experience she can tell her friends about.
