nutritional supplementsI take a lot of nutritional supplements each day and really it’s a good job I do. I wouldn’t consider myself a picky eater but I could very easily become a vegetarian. I don’t eat a lot of pork or beef products. I usually eat beans, cheese, milk, fish, seafood and chicken as sources of protein. We actually had a ham tonight and my granddaughter put me off my food by saying that she had found what she called “a ball of gristle.” That phrase left me unable to eat another bite and I have just had to leave the table because I felt quite ill.
Because I take a handful of nutritional supplements each day and I also eat a lot of fruit, vegetables, dairy products and whole grains I am not overly concerned that I am not too keen on meat. Actually I was mildly anemic for a while so my doctor recommended extra iron nutritional supplements. I have felt fine since I started taking them.
I doubt I am the only person who is not too keen on certain foods. My dislike is for certain types of meat but for other people it might be fruit, vegetables or dairy. Fortunately nutritional supplements are available to fill the gap and keep us healthy. There are also numerous alternative sources of protein, carbohydrates and fats.
