skin creamsEvery day I stumble over something online that I have never seen used by ordinary people for different kinds of home cures. We have all heard of gum arabic as an additive to food, but today I learned it can be ordered online and used as an astringent and it can also be used to heal burns and inflammations on the skin. I bet if it were mixed with skin creams, it would do a lot to keep the skin firm and supple at the same time. I might order this product. It's not expensive and I love experimenting with new things. The next time I have a cut or scratch, I could put it on the wound and see if they heal faster. I have a cat who resists having her claws clipped and in the summer I wear shorts and T shirts and when she jumps up on my lap, she sometimes uses my skin as an anchor. Ouch! If I could mix the gum arabic with the skin creams, it would be doing double duty. Almost all antibacterial products are mixed with petroleum jelly, so I don't know what the difference would be if this were mixed with skin creams. Since it's a dry product, it will stay fresh until hydrated in the skin creams, a real bonus.
