I found out recently on a camping trip and the answer is that we don’t smell too nice. If you’ve been camping before then you may already know that it is not a very good idea to use fragrance perfume or any other scented beauty products in the woods unless you actually like being bitten by various insects. The only things available to clean my body were scentless biodegradable soap and cold creek water. The weather was warm and humid, so I only stayed smelling fresh for half an hour. My husband sweats really easily so he smelled more than me. Let’s just say neither one of us had the kind of smell that impresses others. I couldn’t wait to get back home so that I could start using my favorite fragrance perfume and scented skin care products again. In fact I missed my fragrance perfume so much on the trip that it was hard to resist the temptation to bathe in it when I got home last night.
